It is crucial that we do not allow social distancing to result in social isolation. For this reason, I have begun to offer virtual educator trainings for schools, districts and community-based organizations on topics related to continuing support for LGBTQ students and families.

Please let me know if your school/district is interested in setting up an online training in the upcoming weeks. If so, I will manage the entire process so it does not become additional work for you or your staff (Session Information, Registration, Synchronous Training, Ongoing Resources, Post-Training Evaluation).

By the end of this participatory virtual training, participants will:
  • Understand the complex and unique experiences of LGBTQ students and families during this period of social distancing;
  • Identify strategies to ensure online learning continues to address LGBTQ identities and experiences, and
  • Be aware of the factors that promote resilience and positive outcomes for LGBTQ students.

Please use the contact tab above to access my calendar and schedule a time for us to discuss this in more detail.

Cost: Virtual Professional Development is scheduled by the hour. Each hour of is invoiced at $300, fee includes technological platform, pre-registration link, instructor and standard electronic evaluation. I do offer discounted rates for weekly or biweekly professional development exceeding 5 hours.
Together, we will create online spaces for educators to meet, support each other, talk about challenges, and work ensure all students thrive during this unprecedented time in our state and country.
