LGBTQ-Inclusive Welcome Signs for School Front Entrances
Have you ever felt like there is more to be done? Well, here is one simple thing you can do that will have a major impact on many students and families. Welcome messages and statements of support are so important when people are trying to determine their comfort and safety in a school environment. Placing a supportive sign on the front door will immediately send a powerful message of inclusion.
Increasingly, our LGBTQ students and families are hearing strong messages about how they ARE supported or NOT supported throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Simple welcome messages, coupled with supportive educators and affirming classroom lessons, are critical in social and emotional wellness.
Now is the time transgender students and families need the most support. Please let them know they are loved and are valuable members of our communities by putting a welcome message at your school entrance.
Below you will find a bunch of Welcome Signs for you to use in and around your school. Please print them out and use them everywhere.
