In my spare time... I keep a couple of beehives in my backyard. The honey is incredible. Otherwise, nothing real exciting to report here.
I have learned that keeping bees is as easy as keeping a garden. It takes about the same amount of time and effort to keep the garden producing veggies as it does to keep bees happy and healthy. The bees help my vegetables and other garden plants thrive! The added bonus is the honey. I feel like I am doing something to help bees at a time when this critical pollinator is in crisis.
